Apparently, a Horror film is made of various elements. Yes, there are six elements that complete a movie to be known as a Scary one. Those elements are described as follows:

And the most inevitable part of any horror or paranormal (subpart of horror) activity is unawareness of your surroundings and what will happen in the immediate future; something out of the blue and very random that makes you jump out of your comfort!     For all the elements to work and scare the crap out of you, the glue that holds everything together has to be present, and it has to be so strong that it mends everything as one whole drama. In a horror movie, this glue is our third element, the atmosphere. The vibrating drapes, the wide corridors and halls, horrifying theme music that signifies that a hazard is near, and dull lights are the perfect ingredients of giving birth to a potential soul-wrecker. Not to forget, little baby cries and creaking floor sounds can add the cherry if added in the right amount and place.

Most of the time, the beginning has a clue for the protagonist to understand the solution he/she can come up with.
  • A Terrible Figure

    The real icing is when you see something so terrifying that makes all the nightmares come true. There should be a visual figure (in the movie) remembering/looking at which, you can choke on your own saliva. Apparently, this can be one of the most brilliant points of starting a horror drama on a successful note.
  • A Weapon/Symbol of Terror

    Every villain has their favorite method or a weapon to kill. Some have a trident, some have a kitchen knife, while some have a great claw. Eventually, this can be a great icon to be memorable in the minds of viewers for a long time. It is however great to just leave the story at this place where The spirit killed the Protagonist with a Large Claw. This can be another name for the movie (a reference point) when you forget the name!
